You want to share your photos, don't you? Share those 50 new pictures of your little bundle of joy from today? Please.... Don't email them!

"Oh, but it's so easy to attached them, and I've been doing it for years." Yeah, well, that doesn't make it right, or efficient.

When sending pictures to others, there are a couple of preferred methods.

First, the best way is to upload them to a photosharing site, like KodakGallery or SmugMug or other photo sharing place.
Here are a few links to them:

Second, alternative way is to make the photos smaller for email. Most photo programs have a ‘save for web’ or ‘send as email’ option that will make the image smaller, from the typical 3-5mb to a much much better 200kb.

If not doing any of the above, then at the very least, do not put more than one photo in an email. Three 3mb files in an email is almost 10mb. Some recipients only have 10mb mailboxes, so they might not ever get it.

And some people, believe it or not, still use dial-up, so a 10mb email may take them 15 minutes or more to download.
